While Jake Witthaus’ Hermann High School golf team only had three varsity golfers during the annual Four Rivers Conference (FRC) Golf Tournament back on Monday, May 4 at Sullivan Municipal Golf Course, one of them topped the entire field.
Senior EJ Lindahl fired a four-over par round of 75 over 18 holes giving him an individual FRC title by seven strokes over Sullivan’s Carsen Dudley who fired a second-place round of 82.
Other HHS varsity golfers at the FRC Tournament included Nathan Menke who checked in with a round of 117 while Maggie Causey shot a 122.
Ending their season on the links in the junior-varsity portion of the tournament for Hermann were Lilly Vogelsang (138), Brylee Moore (150) and Josie Neill (158).
Lindahl, Moore and Causey also competed Monday at Norwoods Golf Club in Hannibal during the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Class 2, District 2 Tournament.
