Immanuel Lutheran breaks ground for school expansion

Posted

The Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for a new addition to the Immanuel Lutheran School at 11 a.m. on Aug. 27 following Church services. The school children and church members gathered outdoors. Pastor Tim Weiser began the hour-long ceremony that included a guest speaker. The 8,900-square-foot addition includes four more classrooms,  a new dining hall, gymnasium and bathrooms. The school, which began in 1904, has 77 students enrolled and has nearly doubled its enrollment numbers over the past four years, thus the need for expansion.
