Janice Lorraine Adams, 85, of Bland, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Stonebridge of Owensville.
She was born Sept. 12, 1938, to James Henry and Florence Emma (McCready) Catlow in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage May 10, 1958, to Donald Adams Sr. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Louis.
Janice was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville. She enjoyed fishing, singing, watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball and taking care of the babies.
She was preceded in death by parents, James and Florence; husband, Donald; brother, Larry Catlow; sister, Nancy Greenwalt; and grandsons, Bryan Friday and Domnick Carroll.
She is survived by children, Donald Adams Jr. of St. Louis, Dawn Hannah of Bland and Cherie Friday and husband Mike of Union; sister, Kay Voss of Arnold; grandchildren, Michael McClanahan and wife Audrey, Amanda Furgeson and husband Cory, Jerry Harrison, Anthony Wamser, Scott Friday and Erik Friday; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday (today), March 20, from 9–11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville with Fr. Philip Kane officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
