Jennifer Marie Gerlemann, 46, Owensville, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 23, 1979, to Stanley Ray and Elizabeth Kathleen (Blanton) Shoemaker in Sullivan.
She was united in marriage to Richard Gerlemann Sept. 12, 1998, in Bland.
Jennifer enjoyed spending time with family, reading, traveling and her times at the beach. Most of all she loved being a mom.
She touched many lives over the years, always having an answer for anyone’s questions.
Jennifer was preceded in death by grandparents, Edna and Logan Shoemaker, Mildred Jaeger Blanton Ray and Franklin Blanton; father-in-law, LeeRoy Gerlemann; brother-in-law, Kenneth Gerlemann; nephews, Philip Shoemaker and Ryan Gerlemann.
She is survived by husband, Richard of their home; parents, Stanley and Kathy Shoemaker of Owensville; mother-in-law, Mary Gerlemann of Gerald; children, Abigail Busenhart and husband Brandon and Luke and Brody Gerlemann, all of Owensville; siblings, Brian Shoemaker and wife Marie of Owensville, Kurt Shoemaker of Bourbon and Shelly Shoemaker of Arlington, Texas; brothers-in-law, David Gerlemann and wife Brenda, Leroy Gerlemann and wife Penny, Wayne Gerlemann and wife Teresa, Donald Gerlemann, John Gerlemann and wife Denise, Gary Gerlemann and wife Karen, Ronald Gerlemann and wife Sherri, Mark Gerlemann and wife Jamie and Timothy Gerlemann; sisters-in-law, Ruth Hale and husband Ronald, Betty Blaue and husband Troy, Barbara Benson and husband Charles and Cindy Gerlemann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 28, at First Baptist Church in Owensville, with Pastor Gary Mace officiating. Interment was in Bowen Cemetery near Redbird.
