Jerry Joe Adkison Sr., 63, Owensville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at his residence.
He was born July 10, 1963, to the late Robert and Betty Jo (Gossett) Adkison in St. Louis.
He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, boating, watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and taking his family whom he loved dearly on family trips to the zoo.
Jerry was firm in his faith.
He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Betty Jo; brother, Bob Adkison; and brother-in-law, Don Doell.
Jerry is survived by sons, Jerry Adkison Jr. and Nathaniell Adkison and wife Hannah, both of Owensville and Nicholas Stotler of Lake City, Ark.; daughters, Tabitha Hurst and husband Trevor of Owensville, Marsha Layton and husband Ryan of Montgomery City and Megan Clayton and husband Cody of Lake City, Ark.; sister, Pamela Doell of O’Fallon; grandchildren, Kaylei, Cody, Elli, Chesten, Bella, Madison, Carson, Stahr, Paizli and Nash; great-grandchild, Brantley; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., (today) Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Harvey’s Chapel United Methodist Cemetery in Marmaduke, Ark.
