John Edwin Krueger, 68, of Owensville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, at his residence.
He was born April 21, 1954, to Clarence and Norma (Wulff) Krueger in Jefferson City.
John was a member of Grace Bible Church, and also served as a lay-pastor at Grace Bible Church. He was well known for his kind and loving heart; he had a heart for helping people, especially teens and those who had no one else to help them. He enjoyed gardening and Bible study. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
John was an employee of the U.S. Postal Service at the time of his death and had worked for them for many years.
He was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Norma.
He is survived by siblings, James Krueger and wife Ellen of Morrison, Daniel Krueger of Sedgwick, Kan., David Krueger and wife Karen of Sapulpa, Okla., Paul Krueger and wife Ada of Hermann, Marilyn Paisley and husband Scott of Kankakee, Ill., and Norlene Goemaat and husband Philip of Milton, Iowa; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 6, at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville, with Rev. Paul Wulff officiating. Burial was at Countryside Memorial Gardens, Owensville.
