Josephine P. Austin, 101, Owensville, formerly of Rosebud, fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019 at Frene Valley, Senior Living, Owensville. She was born March 4, 1918, in Wicklow, Ireland.
She was preceded in death by parents, Patrick and Elizabeth (nee Bryne) Austin and her two brothers and three sisters as well as her life long friend, Gloria Hill.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews and long time friends and caregivers, Kenny and Joann Hilkerbaumer. She was a LPN and a Little Sister of the Poor.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, Sept. 27, at St. Gerald Catholic Church in Gerald. Interment followed in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Owensville.
