June Nora Faerber, 93, of Hermann, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024, at StoneBridge Senior Living, Hermann.
She was born Sept. 29, 1930, to William and Mabel (Maupin) Moeckli in Stony Hill.
She was united in marriage to Robert G. Faerber, Oct. 21, 1950, at St. George Church, Hermann.
June was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann; Hermann Fire Department Auxiliary; and Frauenverein Extension Club. She also was a Girl Scout Leader for several years.
June worked part-time as a cook for Gasconade County R-1 School and also worked for International Shoe Company.
She is preceded in death by parents, William and Mabel; husband of 57 years, Robert; sisters, Ruth Bickmeyer and Shirley Moeckli; and brother, Lloyd Moeckli.
June is survived by daughters, Susan Faerber, and Nancy Faerber and special friend Lance Carlson all of Jefferson City; son, John Faerber and special friend Sherry Ruediger of Hermann; two grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 5, from 4–8 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann, with Rev. Andy Wilson officiating. Burial will be at St. George Cemetery, Hermann.
Memorials may be given to Hermann Hospital or St. George School.
