Katherine Lavon Gamache, 82, Rosebud, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Stonebridge in Owensville.
She was born May 29, 1940, to Thomas and Shirley (Coleman) Cossairt in St. Louis County.
She was united in marriage to James Gamache, Dec. 29, 1984, at Sherwood Baptist Church in St. Louis.
Katherine was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She was very active with husband James in the Shield 24/7 Organization.
She was preceded in death by parents Thomas and Shirley and husband James.
She is survived by son Dennis Grayson of Rosebud; and brothers Ralph Cossairt of Miami, Okla., Jim Cossairt and wife Vickie of Commerce, Okla., and Robert Cossairt and wife Alma of Oklahoma City, Okla.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 25, from 9–11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel, Owensville, with funeral services following with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in New Salem Baptist Cemetery.
