Kathleen Joan Birk,73,Gerald, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at her residence.
She was born March 2, 1947, to Herman and Eileen (Meyer) Grube in Washington.
She was united in marriage April 5, 1969, to Marvin Birk, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Gerald.
Kathleen was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ where she served as church secretary and the quilters and Women’s Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Eileen; and brothers, Herman Jr., Roger and James Grube.
She is survived by husband, Marvin; children, Dayna Weirich and husband Brian and Timothy Lindemeyer and wife Cindy all of Gerald; brother, John Grube; sisters-in-law, Mae Birk of Herman and Dorothy Birk of Wheaton, Ill.;six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 18 at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Gerald with Rev. Glenn Hollander officiating. Interment was in St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Cemetery in Gerald.
