Kenneth “K.J.” Detjen, 49, Bland passed away Jan. 13, 2020, at his residence.
He was born July 7, 1970, to Kenneth M. and Kathleen M. (Brown) Detjen, in St. Charles.
Kenneth was a 1988 graduate of New Haven High School. He had became an carpentry apprentice and worked as a carpenter on the farm with his father. He had been an area resident for 26 years.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He is survived by parents, Kenneth and Judy of Bland; daughter, Kenady Jordyn Detjen of Bland; and siblings, John Hiatt of Hermann, Jim Nugent and wife Amber of Walnut, Ill., Jamie Nugent and wife of Texas, Angie Detjen of Bland and Sebrina Ausbrooks and husband Ken of Washington.
Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 17, at Assumption Cemetery in New Haven.
Arrangements entrusted to Sassmann’s Chapel in Bland.
