Kenneth Raymond Dresel, 81, passed away on Sept. 27, 2026, in Arvada, Colo.
He was born on Oct. 13, 1944, to the late Ben Louis and Edith Inez Dresel.
He spent part of his childhood in Rich Fountain and graduated from Grandview High School in Missouri in 1962.
After graduation, Kenneth enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, served in the Vietnam War, and was honorably discharged on June 24, 1966.
He worked as a union electrician for 20 years before beginning a second career in building maintenance with United Airlines in 1984. He retired in December of 2006.
Ken was preceded in death by first wife, Bennie Marie Dresel; parents, Ben and Edith; and all eight of his siblings. As the last survivor of nine children, he carried with him a lifetime of memories of the family and siblings who came before him.
Ken is survived by wife, Linda; daughters, Robin Gregory and husband Todd, Tracy Reiner and husband Joe, Shawn Wine and husband Steve and Tam Porter; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Arvada, Colo.
