Kenneth Emil Lottmann, 90, Owensville, passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, at Capital Region Hospital in Jefferson City.

He was born March 7, 1931, to Emil and Lena (Hesemann) Lottmann at their home in Drake.

He was united in marriage to Elsie Dueker, July 14, 1956, at St. James United Church of Christ in Charlotte.

Kenneth served his country with the U.S. Army earning the rank of Sgt. He was awarded The Combat Infantry Badge, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal. He was a member of the Rosebud American Legion and Owensville Christian Church where he had served as deacon and treasurer.

He and his wife Elsie owned and operated Elsie and Ken’s Cafe in Rosebud until 1970. He also owned Ken’s Radio and TV. He retired from Chrysler in 1991 and continued his love of farming.

He was preceded in death by parents Emil and Lena; wife Elsie; brother Harold Lottmann; and sister-in-law Shirley Lottmann.

He is survived by children Sharon and Gary Mace of Cuba, Ronald and Phyllis Lottmann of Rosebud, Beverly Klausner of Owensville, and David and Ellen Lottmann of Owensville; grandchildren Jordan Lottmann and wife Melissa of Gerald, Jessica Shell and husband Phillip of Flippin, Ark., Josh Lottmann of Springfield, Eric Mace of Temecula, Calif., Brad Mace and wife Sarah Beth of Decator, Ga., Ethan Klausner and wife Robyn of Niceville, Fla., Colten Lottmann and fiancé Emily Ellis of Lee’s Summit, and Ivy Lottmann of Owensville; great-grandchildren Erik Shell, Kennen and Konnen Lottmann, Caleb and Olivia Lottmann, Vivi Mace and Camilla Klausner; nieces, nephew; lifelong friend and neighbor, Dennis Berger; also many other family and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 22, at St. James United Church of Christ, Charlotte, with Gary Mace officiating. The service was also live streamed on the St. James UCC Charlotte Facebook page. Burial was in the church cemetery with full military honors.
