Lauren Michelle McCormick, 47, Rosebud, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.
She was born May 11, 1979, to Gary Edwin and Virginia Maye (Fryer) Smith in Creve Coeur.
She was united in marriage to Eric McCormick June 2, 2001, in Gerald.
Lauren worked as a registered nurse at Stonebridge Senior Living for 25 years.
She enjoyed camping, gardening, horseback riding and time with her family especially her daughter, Ava.
Lauren was preceded in death by brother, Daniel Smith; father-in-law, Floyd McCormick Jr.; grandparents, Ray and Norma Fryer and Darrell and JoAnn Smith; and sister-in-law, Christina Pratt.
She is survived by husband, Eric of their home; daughter, Ava McCormick of Rosebud; parents, Gary and Ginger Smith of Gerald; mother-in-law, Virginia McCormick of Owensville; brother, Jonathan Smith and wife Amy of Washington; brother-in-law Craig McCormick and wife Jennifer of Union; and other relatives and friends.
Her body was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., Aug. 9, at the White Mule Winery. Food and refreshments will be provided. Please come and share your memories of Lauren.
