Lewis Harvey Alberswerth, 92, passed away on Aug. 13, 2026.
He was born on Dec. 7, 1933, to the late Harvey and Gertrude (nee Meyer) Alberswerth.
He spent his life farming.
Lewis is survived by son, Michael Alberswerth and wife Laurie of St. Louis; daughter, Lynda Alberswerth of New Haven; step-daughters, Margaret Blair of Mims, Fla., Marilyn Rohlfing of New Haven and Mary Anderson and husband Chris of Gasconade; granddaughters, Courtney Anderson and fiance James Taormina, Ellen Loewy and husband Nick and Lori Bay and husband Andrew; sisters, Carol Shaffer and husband Charles, Evelyn Quick and Dianne Steinbeck and husband John; and former wife, Evelyn Alberswerth.
Funeral services were held Aug. 18 at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Senate Grove. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions suggested to Immanuel UMC Senate Grove Cemetery Fund or the Blepharospasm Research Foundation.
