Lillian Rose Allan, 100, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 5, 1920, to Alvin and Clara (Voshaller) Trierweiler, in Breese, Ill.
She was united in marriage to Stephen “Pop” Allan, June 3, 1938, in St. Louis.
Lillian was a 1938 graduate of Belleville High School, Belleville, Ill. She worked as a proofreader at Faithful Words in St. Louis. She was also employed as a grocery clerk in both St. Louis and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. She was an active volunteer at Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp in Vienna for more than 30 years. She was a member of Jefferson City Bible Chapel.
She was preceded in death by husband, Pop; step-father, Master Sgt. Clyde Hobart; son-in-law, Phil Smith; sister, Alice Studnicka; and grandson, Matthew Rockhold.
She is survived by children, Dr. James Allan and wife Terry of Jefferson City, Steve Allan and wife Karen of Turkey Hill Bible Camp, Judy Smith of Union and Trudy Allan Rockhold and husband Tim of Turkey Hill Bible Camp; and 12 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 6, at Hilke Millard Funeral Home, Westphalia. Interment was in Breeding Cemetery, Freeburg. Memorial contributions suggested to Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp, Vienna.
