Linda Dale Padgett, 79, Owensville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 22, 1947, to the late Edward and Marie (Jackson) Burt in Fort Payne, Ala.
She was united in marriage to George Padgett March 11, 1978, in Sullivan.
Linda enjoyed antiquing, collecting dolls and planting flowers.
She was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Marie.
Linda is survived by husband, George of their home; children, Tracy Kinkead of Bear Creek, Ala. and Kevin Padgett and wife Jennifer of Owensville; sisters, Gail Ratcliff of Waynesville and Mary Stephenson of Owensville; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Monday, Oct. 5 at at Countryside Memorial Gardens in Owensville, with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
