Mary Ann Binkholder, 90, of Gerald, passed away Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023, at Stonebridge in Owensville.
She was born Oct. 7, 1932, to Daniel and Pearl (Rice) Shepherd in Elmont.
She was united in marriage, April 7, 1951, to Forrest Binkholder in St. Louis.
Mary Ann enjoyed cooking, was a great baker and an outstanding seamstress. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She volunteered at the Library in Gerald.
She was preceded in death by parents, Daniel and Pearl; husband, Forrest; siblings, George and Elmer Shepherd and Elda Thomeczek; and son-in-law, Charles Moon.
She is survived by children, Jerry Binkholder and wife Tina and Cheryl Hussey and husband Bill all of Gerald, Debbie Budnik and husband Kenny of Owensville and Donna Moon of Waterloo, Iowa; and 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 31, from 9–11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.
Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rhonda Winters officiating. Burial will be in Countryside Memorials Gardens.
