Min B. (Koenig) Uffmann, 97, Springfield, formerly of Belle and Owensville, passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2020, at Spring Valley Skilled Nursing.

She was born Dec. 13, 1922, to Fred Henry and Katherine Danuser Koenig, near Belle.

She was united in marriage to Albert William Frank Uffmann, Jan. 22, 1948, in Owensville. To this union, one son, Richard, was born.

Her work experience varied: she was a school teacher, processor at Army Finance Center during WWII in St. Louis, office manager for the city of Owensville, accountant for O’Sullivan Industries, office manager for McQueen Chevrolet, and LaRue Investments in Brainerd, Minn. She was a life-time member of Cox Auxiliary and a long-time member of First and Calvary Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by parents, Fred and Katherine; her husband of 20 years, Albert, who passed in 1968; three sisters, Helen Riefer, Georgia Neese and Lorene Opitz; and three brothers, Fred H. Koenig, Jr., Herman T. Koenig, and Chriss J. Koenig.

She is survived by her son, Richard Koenig Uffmann and wife Susan; three grandchildren, Amanda Hazleton and husband Greg, Katie Tan and husband Johnny and William Uffmann and wife Jessica; four great-grandchildren, Jett and Penelope Tan and Liam and Bailey Uffmann; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private service is planned with interment in the family plot in Owensville. Memorial contributions suggested to the Choral Scholars Fund at First and Calvary Presbyterian Church in Springfield.
