Norman Marshall Jung, 88, of Owensville, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
He was born June 13, 1935, to Norman Edward and Florence (Adams) Jung in Belleville, Ill.
He was first married to Joan Piper. He then married Betty Jean Rocklage, Sept. 30, 1978, in St. Louis
Norman was a member of Owensville Moose Lodge. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time on Peaceful Valley Lake on his pontoon boat.
He was preceded in death by parents, Norman and Florence; son, Phillip Jung; brothers, Dale and Gene Jung; and sister-in-law, Carol Jung.
He is survived by sons, Tab Jung and wife Stephanie of House Springs, Paul Jung and wife Nancy of Ironton, Michael Jung and girlfriend Lisa Borrini of Catawissa and Chad Jung and girlfriend Amanda Bergmann of St. Clair; daughters, Linda Smith of Owensville and Jody Bueker and husband Mark of Union; step-daughter, Tracy Hayes and husband Mark of Pacific; stepsons, Jimmy Kilpatrick and wife Nancy of Hillsboro and Scott Kliever and wife Tanya of Houston, Texas; brother, Wayne Jung of Seattle, Wash.; sister-in-law, Donna Jung of Orlando, Fla.; and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 29, from 9–11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
