Diana Dean, manager of the Gasconade County Soil and Water Conservation District’s office in Owensville, gathers poster contest award recipients for a group photograph Thursday at Owensville Middle School. Dean is retiring as of April 1 after 22 years with the SWCD. She will remain on an extended contract until June to help train her replacement, Patty Burt, of Bland.
