Randall Warner 1946-2026

Randall D. Warner, 79, Hermann, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at StoneBridge Senior Living in Hermann.

He  was born Oct. 5, 1946, to the late Charles and Marie (Ameling) Warner in St. Louis.

He was united in marriage to Wynnette (Dietrich) Warner on Sept. 27, 1975, in St. Louis, and shared 50 wonderful years together building a life centered on love and family.

Randall proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

Following his service, he worked for the federal government as a branch chief with the General Services Administration.

Randall was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Hermann Lions Club.

He enjoyed the outdoors and took great pride in building their home in Stolpe on the family farm.

Above all, Randall was devoted to his family. He was a loving husband and father whose quiet strength and steady presence meant so much to those who loved him. One of his greatest joys was becoming a grandpa to his granddaughter, Victoria, who held a very special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Marie; and nephew, David Brown.

Randall is survived by wife, Wynnette of Hermann; son, James Warner and wife Aly of Edmond, Okla.; grandaughter, Victoria; sister, Laura Brown and husband Richard of Delaware, Ohio; brother-in-law, Gary Dietrich of Omaha, Neb.; nieces, Kristine Dietrich, Lisa Stratton and husband Andy  and Rachel Brown and husband Brian Nicholson; and nephew, Kevin Dietrich.

Graveside services were held Saturday, March 7, at St. John’s Cemetery in Stolpe, with Full Military Honors.

Memorial contributions suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
