Randy Lee Spurgeon, 56, Owensville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 19, 1965, to Wendell Nathan and Ruthine (Medley) Spurgeon in Washington.
He was united in marriage to Cindy Hopkins, June 25, 1983, in Owensville.
Randy was a member of Victory NSS and newly elected president of GTA Car Club.
He was preceded in death by father Wendell and brother Michael at birth.
He is survived by wife Cindy of their home; mother Ruth Spurgeon of Owensville; children Chuck and Casey Mayes of Belle, Amber Cannon and husband Matt of Owensville and Michala “Tator” Spurgeon of Belle; siblings Terry Spurgeon and wife Opal and Connie Lain all of Owensville and Dennis Surgeon and wife Cheryl of Rosebud; and grandchildren Paige, Keeley and Trinity Mayes, Maddie, Matthew and Mackenzie Cannon and Braxton, Hensley and Gannon Kistner.
Visitation will be Friday, March 4, from 4–8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel, Owensville.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 5, at 11 a.m. at the Chapel with Shane Jarvis officiating. Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens.
