Richard Francis Leiweke, 63, of Gerald, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at his residence.
He was born April 27, 1963, to Jerome and Kaaren (Goodman) Leiweke in Centaur, Mo.
He was united in marriage July 1, 1987, to Denise Danback at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in Pacific.
Richard was a member of Owensville Assembly of God Church in Owensville. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, construction work and putting on his Christmas lights display.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome.
He is survived by his mother, Kaaren Trost of Owensville; wife, Denise of their home; children, Stephanie Wojtowicz and fiancé Brad Carpenter of Johannesburg, Mich., and Dianna Leiweke of Gerald; siblings, Debbie Williams and husband Bill of Owensville, Mark Leiweke and wife Joy of Raytown and Irene Hollandsworth and husband Tim of Linn; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Saturday, July 11 at Assembly of God Church in Owensville with Pastor Leslie Dority officiating.
