Rickey Lane Thoms, 69, of Union, formerly of Owensville, passed away Dec. 25, 2021, at SSM Healthcare, St. Louis.
He was born Aug. 8, 1952, to Fred and Ivy (Ringeisen) Thoms in Belle.
Rick was employed at Chrysler in Fenton for over 30 years.
He enjoyed using his backhoe, cars, bowling, playing pool, pinochle at the senior center, and was available to anyone who needed his help.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Ivy; brother Brian Thoms; and infant sister Geraldene Alice Thoms.
He is survived by three daughters Tina Palazzolo and husband Mark of St. Louis, Christy Darby and husband Nathan, and Tara Norman and husband Will all of Miss.; brothers Fred Thoms and wife Shirley of Union, Gary Thoms of Belle, Ray Thoms of Union; sisters Donna Woemmel and husband Donald of Drake, Sue Wells and husband Gary of Caanan, and Kay Bruce and husband Steve of Owensville; grandchildren Titus and Leah Palazzolo, Chase Thoms, Kaylee, Autumn and Lindsey Darby, Austin Turner and Ciara Norman; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
