Roberta Jewett Dolles, 85, Owensville, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Washington, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born Aug. 14, 1939, to the late Raymond Webster and Daisy (Johnston) Jewett in Seattle, Wash.
She was united in marriage Feb. 10, 1960, to Charles Joseph Dolles in St. Louis County. They celebrated their 65 wedding anniversary in February of this year.
Roberta was a devoted member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville.
In her lifetime she enjoyed gardening, cooking family meals, volunteering at the food pantry, swim aerobics class with her longtime friends, working with Parents As Teachers in Owensville, and spending time with those she loved. She was known for her giving heart.
Roberta was preceded in death by husband, Charles; parents, Raymond and Daisy; siblings, Ray Jewett and Judy Jewett; and great-granddaughter, Cally Grace Lorts.
She is survived by children, Chuck Dolles of Owensville, Cathy Dolles of Columbia and Kelly Mulloy and husband Josh of Lebanon, N.H.; brother, Bill Jewett of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; grandchildren, Courtney Lorts and husband Dylan, Cody and Chris Dolles, Henry, Liam, Isaiah and Grace Mulloy; great-grandchildren, Canaan, Dallas and Casyn Lorts, Bobby Wolfe and Valkyra Dolles; and special friends, Lois Rose, Trice Davis, Andy and Renee Smola and sons, Dane and Drake.
Visitation will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m.,Thursday, May 29, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville, with Fr. Philip Kane officiating.
Interment will be held at 1 p.m., in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. (those attending will be leaving directly after the funeral mass).
