Roger William Krull, 72, Hermann, passed away Aug. 27, 2021, at Harry S Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia.

He was born March 29, 1949, to Ernst and Hilda (Oberg) Krull in Hermann.

He was united in marriage to Jeanne Louise Steinmeyer Oct. 11, 1993, in Springfield.

Roger served his country with the U. S. Army for two years being stationed in Mannheim, Germany with the 68 Transportation Co., Fort Lewis, Wash. and Fort Banning, Ga. He was a member of the Swiss Evangelical Reform Church. He worked for Metal Works and Home Inc. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and cherished the times he had with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents Ernst and Hilda; wife Jeanne; sisters Stella Kuenzel and Marylin Kuhn; brothers Kenneth, Raymond and Carl Krull; and sisters-in-law Ruth Krull and Sandy Krull.

He is survived by sisters Hulda Krull of Swiss and Dolores Grannemann and husband Ralph of Hermann; sister-in-law Mary Ann Krull of Swiss; adopted sons Toby Krull and Dustin Krull both of Hermann; stepchildren Laura Maire of Washington, Wesley Maire of Lake Sherwood and Mathew Maire of Highland Village, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Inurnment services will be held at a later date.
