Roger James Mendenhall, 74, Owensville, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2026, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 15, 1951, to the late Ernest Aldon and Goldie (Little) Mendenhall in Alton.
He had served his country with the U.S. Army.
Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, working on cars and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Karen; parents, Ernest and Goldie; sister, Helen Carry; and brothers, Jim and Raymond Mendenhall.
Roger is survived by sons, Roger L. Mendenhall and James A. Mendenhall and wife Ronda, all of Owensville; sisters, Linda Murphy and husband Mike and Judy Klopke, all of Marthasville; brothers, Pete Mendenhall and Danny Mendenhall and wife Tina, all of Union and Jackie Mendenhall and wife Theresa of Hermann; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
His body was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
