Ronald Joseph Kimbrel, 74, Hermann, passed away Sunday, Aug. 8, 2021 at Aspire Senior Living of Gerald.
Ronald was born April 1, 1947 to Fell and Mary Ellen (Warner) Kimbrel in St. Louis.
He was united in marriage to Carolyn Bunton on Sept. 21, 1968 in Berkeley.
He worked as a commercial and residential carpenter. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1964 -1968 on the USS Coral Sea. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Fell and Mary Ellen Kimbrel; a brother, Phillip Kimbrel; and a sister, Elaine Delph.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Kimbrel of the home; daughters, Lisa Schatz and husband Lonnie of Bland and Shelly Lynn Boyer and husband Ken of Farmington; sisters, Kathy Howard of Swiss and Betty Ann Looman and husband Steve of Troy; and grandchildren, Anthony Leibach and fiancé Brook Baumhoegger, Heather Leibach, Danielle Rhoads and husband Josh, Michael Hiatt and fiancé Jayden Mitchell, Bobby Coger and wife Charty, Cody Hedrick and wife Becky, and Preston Hedrick and wife Nicole; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
