Ronald Keith Landwehr, 81, Owensville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026, at Stonebridge of Owensville.
He was born Oct. 5, 1944, to the late Alfred Louis and Irene Alice (Gawer)) Landwehr in Washington.
He graduated from Owensville High School in 1962 and then went on to receive his engineering degree from Rolla School of Mines.
Ron worked as a concrete finisher and was happy in his work.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing on the family farm; and was an avid reader.
Ron was a generous person and very strong in his faith.
He was preceded in death by parents, Alfred and Irene.
Ron is survived by sister, Cheryl Alfermann and husband David of Washington; nephews, David P. Alfermann of Naples, Fla. and Nicholas Alfermann and wife Maureen of St. Louis; great-niece and great-nephews, Knox, Nora, Charlie and Louie of St. Louis; and numerous cousins and other relatives and friends.
Ron’s request was for a graveside service only which was held Monday, Feb. 16 at Owensville City Cemetery with Chaplain Bob Vander Berg officiating.
Memorial contributions suggested for family’s choice.
