Salma Jean Hoeller, 81, Koeltztown, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 20, 1939, to the late Joseph Bernard and Vernita Marie (Kempker) Woehr in Jefferson City.

She was united in marriage to Herman Louis Hoeller June 28, 1960, in Koeltztown.

Salma graduated from the St. Boniface School in Koeltztown. She employed by Scholastic, Inc. in Jefferson City for 20 plus years prior to her retirement in 2003. Salma was a lifelong member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Koeltztown.

She was preceded in death by husband, Herman; parents, Joseph and Vernita; grandchildren, Kylee, Jamie and Angel; infant brother, Bernard; and infant sister, Marie.

Salma is survived by children, Donna Hoeller and Joseph Hoeller and wife Jessie, all of Westphalia, Shirley Hoeller of St. Elizabeth, Michael Hoeller and wife Anna of Jefferson City, Lisa Wieberg and husband Leroy and Peggy Wieberg and husband Dale, all of Argyle and Christie Holler of Meta; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosemary Luebbering of St. Thomas; Rita Kempker and husband Lester of Taos and Nancy Weed and husband William of Gutherie.

Visitation will be held from 8 until 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial, Thursday, April 29, in St. Boniface Catholic Church in Koeltztown with Rev. Basil Tigga officiating. Interment will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery in Koeltztown.

Memorial contributions suggested to Masses at St. Boniface Catholic Church.
