Scott Roy Kuebler, 53, Rosebud, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was born Nov. 14, 1972 in Hermann.

He was united in marriage to Crystal Sullentrup on April 5, 2003, at St. Gertrude’s Church in Krakow.

Scott received the sacraments of initiation at Assumption Catholic Church in Morrison and after moving to Rosebud he transferred membership to Immaculate Conception in Owensville where he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He worked as a skilled brick and stone mason for 30 years and was the owner of Kuebler Masonry.  Scott took great pride in his craft and valued the relationships he built with the contractors he worked alongside.  Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend whose greatest joy was his family.

An outdoorsman at heart, Scott found peace and happiness in nature.  He enjoyed tending his garden, spending early mornings hunting in the woods and quiet days fishing—simple pleasures that reflected his deep appreciation for life.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Crystal; son, Brayden; daughter, Allie; parents, Larry and Susan Kuebler and Kathryn and Tom Zavalydriga; brother, Joshua Holdren; sister, Abby Wilson; and many nieces and nephews each holding a special place in his heart.

He also leaves behind a large extended family who he loved dearly, including his beloved in-laws, Jim and Kellie Sullentrup, Sharon and Dennis Kobusch, Jimmy and Laurie Sullentrup, Amy Bacon, Stephanie and Kenny Birke, Ashley and Will McFerrin and Dawn and Mike Homer.

Scott will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, June 15, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville, with Fr. Philip Kane officiating. Interment was in Assumption Cemetery in Morrison.

Memorial contributions requested for family’s choice.

Arrangements entrusted to Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.
