Scott David Stafford, 35, of Rosebud, passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
He was born Sept. 19, 1987, in St. Louis.
Scott was the glue that held his family together. He was very trusting, pure and brought humility to everyone who knew him, especially his mother. He was loved by all.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, William and Barbara Elliott and Charles and Agnes Pratt.
He is survived by parents, Charles J. and Rose M. (Elliott) Pratt of Rosebud; brothers, Richard Stafford of Kansas, William Bolden and wife Eileen of Shelbyville, Ind., Charles B. Pratt of Mt. Sterling, Robert Pratt and wife Tina of Gerald and Duke Stafford of Perryville;and sisters, Dawn Hammerschmidt and husband Thomas of St. James, Theresa Helbergh and husband Peter of Medford, Wis., Leslie Pratt and Catherine Branson and husband Chris all of Owensville, Ayla Hayes and husband Josh of Tenn., Michelle Dehnart and husband Chris of Marietta, Ohio, Brenda Hamar and husband Brendan and Monica Roberts and husband Lance all of Russell Springs, Ky. and Candace Pratt of Rosebud.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville with Fr. Philip Kane officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.
