The Franklin County Sheriff's Office has “Occupant with Special Needs” stickers available at the front desk of the Sheriff's Office during normal business hours. The stickers are free of charge.
Sheriff Steve Pelton says these stickers allow citizens to write in their, or their loved ones, special need. This will aid first responders in the event of an emergency. The stickers are meant for a vehicle window or the main door of a residence.
This information will better help first responders assess and help those who may not be able to clearly communicate their emergency.
