Shirley Mae Michel, 85, Owensville, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019 at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.
She was born Oct. 18, 1934, in Cook County. She was the adopted daughter of the late Theodore and Nora (Karstedt) Latall.
She was united in marriage to Carl Leland Michel, July 4, 1953 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud.
Shirley was known as a local artist in Owensville, she loved gardening and cooking, and loved her pets.
She was preceded in death by husband, Carl; son, Dennis Carl Michel in infancy; brother, Kenneth Long; brothers-in-law, Neil Michel and Gordon Huff; and sisters-in-law, Faith Glawson and Dorothy Michel.
She is survived by daughter, Pam Haddox and husband Gary of Owensville; brothers-in-law, Bruce Michel and wife Jean of Owensville and Alan Michel Owensville; sisters-in-law, Joan Corrie of Atlanta, Ga., and Joan Lee Michel of Jackson, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
No funeral services are scheduled at this time.
