Shirley G. Shaw, née Skaggs, 76, St. Louis, passed away June 20, 2026.
She was born on Jan. 1, 1950, in Rockford, Ill.
She was united in marriage to Carl “Shorty” Arthur.
She served her country in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Shirley was preceded in death by sisters, Lucille Valley, Judi and Arlene.
She is survived by children, Michael Shaw of Gerald, Timothy Arthur and wife Emily of Rolla and Mickey Arthur and friend Brittney Gillean of Greenville, Ind.; brother, Frankie Skaggs and wife Vickie of Owensville; sisters, Charleen Skaggs and Brenda Curtis, both of Owensville, Mediodeo Inkie of Bland and Roberta Standfield of Union.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 18,at Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
Interment of ashes will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Fort Leonard Wood.
