William Isgriggs, 35, of Steelville, was arrested on Aug. 21 on allegations of theft for an incident that was reported on Aug. 18 at a business in the 200 block of West Main Street in Steelville.
According to the Steelville Police Department, an officer responding to the reported theft determined that a male subject had unlawfully entered the business and stolen several items. During the investigation, the officer identified Isgriggs as a suspect.
Isgriggs was taken into custody by the Steelville Police Department on Aug. 21 and transported to the Crawford County Adult Detention Facility. The same day, Isgriggs was charged with three counts of first-degree burglary and three counts of stealing. A six-count, $25,000 cash-or-surety warrant was issued.
