Stephanie Lavern Curtis, 51, Owensville, passed away peacefully on Oct. 15, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born Nov. 21, 1974, to Charles and Renee Curtis in Michigan.
She grew up in Livonia, Mich. and Mason, Tenn.
Stephanie loved spending time with her family, watching cooking shows, and playing with her dog, Teddy. Above all, she treasured her son Nicholas, who was her whole world.
Stephanie was always quick to smile and laugh with friends and family, and just as quick to let you know when she was displeased with you.
She was preceded in death by son, Andrew Terry; and grandparents, Erma and Everet Lynch and George Curtis and Dorothy Shelters.
Stephanie is survived by parents, Charles and Renee; son, Nicholas Curtis; granddaughter, Ariel Terry; sisters, Jennifer Tidwell and husband Tommy, Kristy Isome and Shelley Biere and husband Joshua; and brother, Michael Curtis.
A Celebration of Life was held on Oct. 18, at the home of her parents in Owensville.
Arrangements entrusted to Midlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens in Union.
