Steven Joseph Cook, 60, of Bland, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023.
He was born June 25, 1963, to Theodore Leroy and Sheilan Carol (Kraisser) Cook in St. Louis.
He was united in marriage to Sharon Czeschin, Nov. 20, 1981, in St. James.
Steven enjoyed fishing, gun collecting, going on motorcycle rides and spending time with grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Theodore and Sheilan; wife, Sharon; and father-in-law, Willis Czeschin.
He is survived by daughters, Shannon Wenkel of Rosebud, Sarah Ladyman and fiancé Ronald Hoffman of St. Clair and Shawn Ragain and husband Eric of Fayette; mother-in-law, Rose Czeschin of Bland; brother, Ted Cook and wife Sherry of New Haven; sisters, Anna Cook of Washington and Sheilan Cornman and husband Paul of St. James; and grandchildren, Wyatt, Blake, Madison, Caleb, Lexi, Haley, Desiree, Nicholas, Datan, Boston and Bella.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 17, from 4–8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.
Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Chilton officiating. Burial will be Countryside Memorial Gardens.
