Talitha Bernice Nicks, 98, of Owensville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, at Stonebridge of Owensville.
She was born March 13, 1925, to Benjamin Brinkman and Emma (Landwehr) Suelthaus in Owensville.
She was united in marriage to Vernon Eldo Nicks, Oct. 10, 1954, at First Baptist Church in Owensville.
Talitha was a member of First Baptist Church, had been active in 4-H Club, and was a 23 year member of the Gasconade Country Fair Board having served as secretary for 13 years.
She was preceded in death by parents, Benjamin and Emma; husband, Vernon; and grandchild, Christina Marie Nicks
She is survived by sons, John Nicks and wife Becky of Bland, Rodney “Red” Nicks and Ronald Nicks both of Owensville; and 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 5 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Sullivan and Rev. Jack Kurrelmeyer officiating. Burial was in Countryside Memorial Gardens.
