Tammy Elizabeth McIntire, 65, of Hermann, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, Friday, July 21, 2023.
She was born April 28, 1958, to Walter Woodrow and Nellie V. (Vaughn) Hansel in Washington.
She was united in marriage to William “Bill” Thomas McIntire, July 19, 1998.
Tammy was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary for over ten years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Nellie; and father-in-law, Ray Sanders.
Tammy is survived by husband, Bill of Hermann; children, Sarah Orozco and husband Juan, Rachel Pelton and husband Joseph all of Union, Robert Cannon and fiancé Rachel Rigdon of Troy, and Matthew Cannon and wife Amber of Owensville; step-mother, Linda Hansel of Cedar Hill; mother-in-law, Alma Smith and husband Earl “Bud” of South Roxana, Ill.; brothers, Michael Hansel and wife Mae Ellen of Marthasville, and Gregory Hansel and wife Heather of Union; sisters, Jessica Venable and husband Michael of Battlefield, and Claudia Fischer of Sullivan; and 16 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 27, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, with Pastor Wyatt Otten officiating. Interment was in St. Clare Catholic Cemetery in St. Clair. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
