Teresa Kay Holaway, 68, of Union, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
She was born May 2, 1955, to Howard Benton and Marie (Owens) Holaway in Washington.
Teresa worked at Sullivan Shelter Workshop for ten years, where she met many workers that she became friends with. She enjoyed making pot holders, going for drives, and working puzzles. Teresa was a person who never met a stranger and enjoyed being around people and everybody she met got a hug. She also loved going to the park where she would sit and watch geese.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Dennis, Daniel, and Glenn Holaway.
Teresa is survived by parents, Howard and Marie of Leslie; sisters, Marilyn Bowman and husband Richard of Rosebud and Mindy Holaway of Union; and sister-in-law, Ann Holaway of Beaufort.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 29, at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home Chapel in Owensville with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
Burial was at Rosebud Methodist Cemetery in Rosebud.
