My name is Paul Boettcher. I am a proud member of Owensville, Mo., High School class of 1964. I believe this great Nation was created on great principles. Three of which are: Judeo-Christian beliefs, Rule of Law, and Capitalism.
I believe that illegal immigration and mass migration is the Trojan Horse coming into the United States of America.
Our Nation was founded as an experiment in governance by our great forefathers as a “Government of the People, By the People, For the People.” No other exist in the world.
As Christians we believe in one God, doing “Good” and no harm to others. In days gone by the Rock Island Railroad operated through Owensville. The residences of the area would do what they could for “Hobos.” But the “Hobos” did not come to change your culture or beliefs.
The immigrants of the past came to this country and “Assimilated” into our ways. They were allowed to keep their Religion. “When in Rome do as the Romans.” Christianity has always had those who wanted to destroy Christianity. They are still out there.
The Rule of Law is a foundation of our society. It is the “Government of the People, by the People, For the People.” The laws are written and approved by the people we elect. If we the people do not like the law, then we the people go to our representative and ask them to change the law. If it is not by this process you will have chaos.
Capitalism versus Socialism
My thinking on Capitalism is each individual making his or her own choices. As long as it is within the “Rule of Law” and does not interfere with the rights of others, the individual has the right to individually profit.
My thinking on Socialism is everyone and someone, not you, deciding how the sharing goes. No incentive to do better than anyone else as your “star” will be the same as everyone else. “Who will pull the wagon when everyone wants to right.”
We just had a great sporting event. The Super Bowl is as America as baseball and apple pie. I was very disappointed with the half time performance. We are celebrating 250 years after the Declaration of Independence was signed and the start of this new form of government. Why was it not a more patriotic theme?
Do you lock the entrance to where you and your family live? Why? Why not lock our country for the same reason? If you have someone in your home that wants to harm you or your family and will not follow your rules. would you not want them removed?
It has not been so long ago that people of other nations, at the request of the leaders chanted, “Death to America.” Death to Israel.” They are calling “Jihad.” With “Jihad” there are no prisoners. You convert or death. Two choices. Christianity is under attack.
It has been longer ago that a leader of a nation set in United Nations and said something like, “We do not have to put armies in America to conquer you. You will fall from within.”
They are trying to change our culture and our social society. We are losing our identity.
Are we going to allow this new and fragile form of governance to fall apart? Everyone can practice the form of religion they like, but everyone must assimilate into our Rule of Law and Capitalism.
The “Trojan Horse” must be stopped.
For the most part it has.
Still too many visas and leaks.
The “Bullfrog” must jump out of the pot
The rule of law must be upheld.
We must all be respectful of each other.
We must all be able to communicate respectfully.
We must have an open mind and listen more than talk.
We must have an open mind and listen more than talk.
We learn much more from our failures than successes.
There is a book that I feel everyone should read sooner than later.
The “Invisible Coup” by Peter Schweizer.
