Thomas Lee Christie, 15, Owensville, passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born on June 13, 2010, in Rolla.
He was a student at Owensville High School and a member of the First Baptist Church in Owensville.
Thomas enjoyed baseball, bowling, singing in OHS Troubadours, collecting baseball, Pokémon, and wrestling cards.
Thomas did not want to be the center of attention and cared more about others than himself.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel R. Haddox; and brother, Tyler Christie.
Thomas is survived by his mother, Lora L. Butler; brothers, Dakota Brooks of Sullivan, Seth and Andrew Wideman, both of St. Louis, Randy Herberger of Belle and Tucker Christie of Owensville; and sisters, Kammy Evans Christie of Gerald and Sueann Pearson of St. Louis.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville. His organs were donated and received by many recipients.
Memorials may be given for family choice.
