JoAnn M. Ball, 82, McKittrick, passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2025 at her home.
She was born Aug. 12, 1943, the daughter of the late Joseph and Angeline A. (Winge) Pirner in Jefferson City.
She was united in marriage to George Ball, Jr. Aug. 22, 1959 in Jefferson City. Together they shared 39 years of marriage. George preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1998.
JoAnn worked for both Handi-Pac and Pretium Packing in Hermann. She also worked as a cook for Gasconade County R-1 School and Hermann Hospital.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, George; and her parents Joseph and Angeline.
She is survived by daughters, Kay Lacy of Owensville, Paula Lackman and husband Sam of Hermann, Donna Lauer and husband Howard and Nancy Hanger and husband Bob, all of Rhineland; grandchildren, Jessica Borgmann and husband Shawn of Fulton, Nathan Lauer and wife Maggie of Columbia, Ill., Amanda Hanger and significant other Jose of Creve Coeur and Joey Hanger and significant other Allie of Wright City; and great-grandchildren, Evan, Ryan and Brooke Borgmann, Lucy, Letty and Weston Lauer and Waylon Hanger.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 12, at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann. Interment was in Oak Haven Memorial Gardens in Hermann.
