Gary Joseph Engemann, 74, Rhineland, passed away on Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, at his home.
He was born on March 28, 1952, to the late Elmer and Clara (Bocklage) Engemann in Hermann.
He was united in marriage to Cynthia (Cindi) Koenig Engemann on June 5, 1976, at the Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows in Starkenburg.
Gary ran Rhineland Grain for nearly 40 years.
He was preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Clara; brothers, Ardell and Melvin; and sister, Mary.
Gary is survived by wife, Cindi of Rhineland; sons, Bart Engemann and wife Jackie of Parker, Colo. and Nicholas Engemann and wife Sharla of Rhineland; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral Mass was held Sept. 18, at Church of the Risen Savior in Rhineland. Interment was in St. Martin’s Cemetery in Starkenburg.
Memorial contributions suggested to Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows.
