Walter Peter Wibberg, 86, passed away Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021.
He was born Jan. 29, 1935, to Frank and Regina (Troesser) Wibberg in Frankenstein.
He was united in marriage to Reva Havener Oct. 20, 1956, in Valley Park.
Walter worked and retired from Wainwrights.
He was preceded in death by parents Frank and Regina; wife Reva; and brothers Frank and Linus Wibberg.
He is survived by daughters Evelyn Marie Kirkman of Greenville, Texas; son Michael Wibberg and wife Margaret of St. Charles; brothers Elmer Wibberg and wife Barb, Lawrence Wibberg and wife Shirley and Cletis Wibberg and wife Elaine; and sister Evelyn Wibberg Lubbert and husband Wilfred; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 21, from 9-11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel, Owensville, with funeral services following with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens.
