Wanda L. Gentry, 88, of Hermann, passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, at StoneBridge Senior Living, Hermann.
She was born Jan. 14, 1935, the daughter of the late Sid and Gussie (Lee) Thomas in Swain, Ark.
She was united in marriage to Stuart J. Gentry, June 19, 1954, in Americus.
She is preceded in death by parents, Sid and Gussie; husband of almost 50 years, Stuart; brothers, Barton, Ray, Gilbert, Joe and Dale Thomas; sister, Nadine Amos; and siblings in infancy, Betty and Billy.
Wanda is survived by daughter, Cindy Burns and husband John of Fulton; son, Wayne Gentry and wife Julie of Palmdale, Calif.; sisters-in-law, Rose Mary Thomas of Hermann, and Joyce Thomas of Mexico; and eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
