William Carl Heady, 92, of Byrnes Mill, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, at his residence.
He was born April 7, 1933, to Oscar Thomas and Ida Mae (Curtman) Heady in Miller County.
He was united in marriage to Vickie Shipman July 10, 1993, in House Springs.
William served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard.
He was a member of the High Ridge Church of Christ, the High Ridge VFW and the High Ridge Rotary.
William was preceded in death by first wife, Lynn Heady; parents, Tom and Ida Mae; and brothers, Tom Heady, Jr. and James Heady.
He is survived by wife, Vickie Heady; children, Matthew Heady, Lydia McCutchen, Becca Dewey and Brad Brockmeier; five grandchildren; and
sister, Lucy Bohl.
A graveside service was held Friday, Dec. 5, at Rosebud Methodist Cemetery in Rosebud with tributes from the family.
