William Edward Keeling Jr., 66, of Owensville, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
He was born Dec. 28, 1956, to William E. and Rosemary Piatchek Keeling in St. Louis.
He was united in marriage to Donna Eye, Sept. 17, 1982, in St. Clair.
William had served his country with the U.S. Marines. He enjoyed reading, watching St. Louis Cardinals, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, William and Rosemary; wife, Donna; and brother, Mike Keeling.
He is survived by children, Jean Nicole Goodnack of Chambersburg, Penn., and William Keeling III of Owensville; sisters, Colleen McIntosh, Susan Hildebrand and Lisa Keeling all of Owensville, Mary Lorton and Paul Keilholz of Linn and Crystal Taylor and husband Terry of Oakville; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 8, from 4–7 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.
His cremains will be interred in Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis, Friday, June 9, at 10 a.m. with full military honors.
